Meet the Ground Jetsons, the alter egos of the Jetsons we know and love (characters of my own invention). When the rest of humanity fled to the sky to escape the fires, they stubbornly chose to stay behind. Amongst their ranks is Rosie 1.0 who was thrown away by the Jetsons when they replaced her.
